Directions coming from NJ Turnpike, Route 1 & 9, Newark Airport Area (78 West):
Take 78 West to exit 33. Bear left off exit onto Martinsville Road (towards Martinsville) and proceed to the end where there will be a traffic light and a PNC bank on your left. Turn left at that traffic light onto Washington Valley Road and at the next light, turn right onto Chimney Rock Road. Proceeds approximately 2 ½ miles down the winding road past the quarry and when you reach the Somerset County Roads Department on your right, make a left hand turn onto Thompson Avenue towards Bound Brook. Chimney Rock Inn will be immediately on your left.
Directions coming from George Washington Bridge, Lincoln Tunnel and Points North:
Take GS Parkway south to exit 142 to Route 78 West and follow directions from exit 33 above.
Directions coming from Pennsylvania, Clinton and west NJ (78 East):
Take Route 78 East to exit 33 and bear right onto Martinsville Road (towards Martinsville) and proceed to the end where there will be a traffic light and a PNC bank on your left. Turn left at that traffic light onto Washington Valley Road and at the next light, turn right onto Chimney Rock Road. Proceeds approximately 2 ½ miles down the winding road past the quarry and when you reach the Somerset County Public Works on your right, make a left hand turn onto Thompson Avenue towards Bound Brook. Chimney Rock Inn will be immediately on your left.
Directions coming from Shore Points, Woodbridge and areas South:
Take 287 North (exit 127 off GS Parkway – Shore Points) to exit 14, Route 22 East. Proceed approximately ½ mile and make a right on the exit for Thompson Avenue, Bound Brook/Martinsville (also Route 525) – before the Raceway Gas Station. Take the immediate right to proceed on the overpass towards Martinsville. At the stop sign, bear left and Chimney Rock Inn will be on the right.
Directions traveling east on Route 22 towards Bound Brook (from Clinton, Branchburg, Somerville areas):
After passing the exit for 287, continue on Route 22 East. Proceed ½ mile to the exit for Thompson Avenue, Bound Brook/Martinsville (also Route 525) – before the Raceway Gas Station. Take the immediate right to proceed on the overpass towards Martinsville. At the stop sign, bear left and Chimney Rock Inn will be on the right.
Directions traveling west on Route 22 towards Bound Brook (from Newark, Union, The Plainfields, Green Brook and Middlesex):
From Route 22 West, once in Bound Brook area and you see the Speedway gas station, turn right towards Martinsville onto Thompson Avenue. Proceed ½ mile and Chimney Rock Inn will be on your right.
Route 287 – Route 22 East - Exit 14A. GS Parkway - Route 22 West – EXIT 140. GS Parkway – Route 78 West – EXIT 142.
Directions Coming From NJ Turnpike, Route 1 & 9, Newark Airport Area:
Take Route 78 (West) to exit 40. At stop sign make a right. Proceed to a 4-way stop sign & follow sign for Gillette. Continue about a half a mile to a traffic light. At light make a right onto Valley Road. Continue 1 mile and Chimney Rock Inn will be on your left.
Directions Coming From George Washington Bridge, Lincoln Tunnel and Points North:
Parkway South to Exit 142 to route 78 West. Then follow directions from NJ Turnpike/Newark Airport.
Directions Traveling West on Route 22: Coming West on 22 you will pass a McDonald’s on your right in Scotch Plains. After passing the McDonald’s, turn slight right toward Scotch Plains/Watchung/Berkeley Heights/New Providence. Turn slight right onto Bonnie Burn Road. Bonnie Burn Road will become Plainfield Ave. Turn left onto Springfield Ave/CR-512. Continue to follow CR-512. Chimney Rock Inn will be on your right.
Directions Traveling East on Route 22: Coming East on 22, once in Watchung, you will pass a Sears/Terril Road on your right. Continue ahead to pass Snuffy’s Pantagis Catering hall on your right. Once you pass Snuffy’s Pantagis Catering hall, take the exit on your right for Park Avenue/Route 78. Then take immediate right for Route 78/Berkeley Heights, and New Providence. Go over overpass and turn left at the Traffic Light onto Bonnie Burn Road. Bonnie Burn Road will become Plainfield Avenue. Turn left onto Springfield Ave/CR-512. Continue to follow CR-512. Chimney Rock Inn will be on your right.
Directions Coming From Morristown, Basking Ridge & Bernardsville Area: Route 287 South to Exit 30A (North Maple Ave). Continue 2 miles on North Maple Ave. Bear left onto South Maple Ave. Continue 2 miles to yellow blinking light (church on right). Bear left onto Long Hill Road. Travel 2 miles to the 2nd 3 way stop. Turn right, bear left down the hill about 1 mile to the first light (American Gas Station on the right). Turn left onto Valley Rd. Chimney Rock Inn is one mile on the left.
Directions Coming From Shore Points, Woodbridge, & New Brunswick Area: Take Garden State Parkway to exit 127 to Route 287 North (Route 287 splits, always stay right). Continue for about 10 miles and exit right onto Route 78 East. Take 78 until exit 40. Turn left after exiting, go approximately 1 mile to a four way stop sign and follow sign for Gillette. Continue about a half a mile to a traffic light. At the light make a right onto Valley Road. Continue 1 mile and Chimney Rock Inn will be on your left.
Directions Coming From Pennsylvania, Clinton & Area West (from 78 East): Take Route 78 East to exit 40. At stop sign make a left. Proceed to a 4-way stop sign and follow sign for Gillette.
